The idea for Great Alaskan Holidays started in 1985 when, just like you, I came to Alaska and rented a motorhome to explore the "Last Frontier." Unfortunately, I was not happy with all the hidden costs - like renting linens, cookware, and all the other essentials needed for a comfortable trip. The worst part was at the end of my vacation I was expected to clean the motorhome for the next guests. With a background as a manager for Hyatt^® and Hilton^® Hotels, I knew guests shouldn't be asked to make beds and vacuum before they leave. That’s when I realized what Alaska needed was a motorhome company that fulfilled the needs of the Customer on vacation. So, my wife and I started Great Alaskan Holidays.
